What is it?
In October 2019 the Queen’s Club Foundation launched its Community Tennis Club, offering free weekly tennis sessions to local children. Part of the QCF mission is to widen participation in communities and inspire individuals to reach their full potential. Although in Hammersmith and Fulham there were projects which introduced young people to tennis, there was previously no project which bridged the gap between entry level and club level, offering ongoing free tennis lessons.

Where and when do the sessions take place?
The sessions take place every Sunday morning during school term time at The Queen’s Club. There is a break for half term and the school holidays. There are two sessions each Sunday:
9:30-10:20 for children in Years 3 & 4,
10:30-11:20 for children in Years 5 & 6.

Who are the sessions for and how can I join?
The sessions are open to all Primary school children within Hammersmith and Fulham. We welcome children of all ability to to join us, from beginners to regular players. The sessions are run by coaches from Queen’s, who also provide all of the necessary equipment.
