On Wednesday night the Queen’s Club Foundation hosted its annual QCF Younger Members’ Christmas Party.
Held in the President’s Room the evening began with a fantastic Jazz performance by Matt Tefler to help create a Christmas atmosphere. As the guests poured in, they were treated to an array of drinks kindly provided by our sponsors – The Little Blue Door, Botanist Gin, VITA VODKA, Signal Brewery, Aldrich & Company, and Terlingham Vineyard. Thanks to their generosity there was not an empty glass in sight.
After some canapés guests were treated to a wide selection of Papa Johns Pizzas with a new Garlic dip on offer. We want to thank Papa Johns for their incredible generosity in supporting us.
With people’s glasses and stomachs full the evening turned towards the star attraction of the evening, the raffle. Many fantastic prizes were up for grabs, and we must once again thank the generous donations of Bamford, Cambridge Distillery, Corney & Barrow, Ealing Distillery, Georgia Cosslett Fitness Training, Goedhuis & Co, Joanna Wood, Lion/ne, Lune, Mindful Chef, Rob Van Helden, Salcombe Brewery and The Simple Supper Club.
The evening concluded in spectacular fashion with the whole room in unison belting out Good King Wenceslas and the 12 days of Christmas.
The evening raised over £5,500, money which will help us in our mission to widen participation and raise the profile of racket sports.
Thank you again to our sponsors and to the QC Members and their guests for all of their support for the Queen’s Club Foundation.
