The Queen's Club Foundation launched its first inter-schools squash competition in March this Year. Four schools from our Community Club outreach programme, which provides free squash coaching to local school children during curriculum time, attended The Queen's Club and competed for a trophy.
It was amazing to see how the childrens' squash has developed over the course of the last academic year under the supervision and guidance of Club coaches, Yawar Islam and Robbie Temple.
The QCF squash outreach programme, which is now well established at Queen's is a fully inclusive programme and the schools welcomed onto the courts throughout the year included local SEND school, Parayhouse.
The QCF is extremely grateful to the Philip King Charitable Trust for its continued support of this valuable programme, which provides an opportunity for all to access this sport.
