We are pleased to announce the launch of our third Inclusive Hotspot as part of the expanding Inclusive Hotspots Project, jointly funded by The Queen’s Club Foundation (QCF) and Middlesex Tennis. This new hotspot, based at Spelthorne Community Tennis Centre, will serve as a dedicated hub for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, offering a welcoming space to experience tennis in an accessible environment.
The hotspot will officially open on 29 March 2026Â with a Deaf Tennis Fun Day, running from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The event is free to attend and open to individuals of all ages and playing abilities. Participants will have the opportunity to try tennis, learn new skills, meet others, and take part in an inclusive session designed to remove barriers to participation.
This development represents a significant step forward in our mission to make tennis more accessible. It joins two existing hotspots: one supporting visually impaired players and one focused on underserved communities. Together, these locations form a growing network of inclusive venues designed to make tennis open and enjoyable for everyone.
The launch of the Deaf Tennis Hotspot reflects our commitment to expanding opportunities across Middlesex and continuing to build environments where everyone feels supported in trying, learning, and enjoying the sport. We look forward to welcoming participants and celebrating this important milestone.
